Starting in January 2026 we will be going through a churchwide Bible reading plan called "The Essential Jesus"
The Essential Jesus Bible Reading Plan is a 100-day journey designed to help you see Jesus woven throughout the entire Bible—from Genesis to Revelation. There are 5 readings each week for a total of 20 weeks. Each day features a selected passage, a brief devotional overview, and reflection questions that point you to the person and work of Christ. Each weak is themed around different aspects of Jesus life: Prophecy, Sermons, Parables, Miracles, etc.
We will be discussing the weekly readings in Sunday School and Pastor Scott will be preaching from one of the selected passages.
Whether you're new to Bible reading or looking to deepen your walk with the Lord, this plan provides an accessible, meaningful way to focus your heart on Jesus.

There are several ways you can follow along with the weekly readings...
1. Pick up a free daily planner card at the church that has all the themes and passages listed out in a fold-out card you can stick in your Bible
2. Order an Essential Jesus Devotional book. This 200-page book provides devotional commentary, prayer guides, and personal application questions. Adult and Youth Versions are available. Books can be purchased through the church for $10 each. Order from is located in the back of the sanctuary.
3. Access the reading plan through the YouVersion Bible app. This free plan contains all the content that is in the physical devotional book. You can access the plan here https://www.bible.com/reading-plans/56-the-essential-jesus
